Knee High Limo Passengers

‘There’s no accounting for taste.’ You hear this sort of comment when someone looking down their nose disagrees with your choice of, well anything, but in this case, there is no accounting for height because while these limo passengers were equally impressed with their ride as they were with their McDonald’s, they are only knee high.

In Glasgow a group of four and five year olds were treated to a limousine ride by their teacher who chose 14 of the most deserving students for a special day out. The young, young students may have needed a booster seat to see out the window of their stretch limousine, but this didn’t bother them at all.

The students enjoyed a limo ride to a special lunch of hamburgers and fries, where they celebrated the end of the year, and their impending succession into Grade Primary next year. The idea for the special treat came to their teacher when she saw one of her students dropped off by his father.

Not unusual in itself, this student’s father was a limousine chauffeur, and had dropped his son at school in a limousine, much to the awe and envy of his fellow students. And so, in seeing the impression he had made on the students who had simply seen the limousine from afar, the chauffeur-father promised the students a ride before the end of the year and with the help and organisation of their teacher, this was soon organised.

While starting school is a big step, many future students are daunted by the experience and parents often worry about how their child will make the move. However, for this group of students, they will remember the experience positively for many years to come and will be experts in limousine hire by the time they ride to their prom.
